Barry has been working in the construction industry for over 20 years. Since graduating, he worked initially as a Site Engineer and has progressed gaining experience in a variety of projects to his current role as Construction Director.

He has a keen interest in people development and is enthusiastic to see individuals expand their skills and knowledge. Consequently, all training is monitored by Barry and driven by a redeveloped, ongoing training plan comprising specialist training as well as in-house coaching and seminars which he will often personally present.

With the responsibility for delivering all contracts, Barry is constantly reviewing procedures to drive the ongoing improvements strategy. He adopts a ‘hands-on’ approach to all projects with specific attention where required to facilitate delivery of key projects. As part of the improvements strategy, Barry was responsible for 'fine tuning' procedures to meet the Investors in People standard.
