Maxi Construction has been awarded 2 contracts for upgrading works to sports and leisure facilities.

A £1.2m contract, from South Lanarkshire Council for works to South Lanarkshire Lifestyles' Eastfield Club in Rutherglen, involves the construction of a steel-framed extension to the operational leisure centre, together with internal alterations, to provide enhanced facilities including a dance studio, reception area and cafe.

A smaller project, for West Lothian Leisure, involves refurbishment works at Broxburn Sports Centre to provide a new Fitness Suite.
